It’s hard to be a lefty<\/p>\n

in a right-hander’s world.<\/p>\n

To be singled out at a meal<\/p>\n

because my elbow bumps yours, and<\/p>\n

I drink from my glass wrong.<\/p>\n

Left-handed people know how I feel.<\/p>\n

Gloves do not fit right,<\/p>\n

the desks are all wrong,<\/p>\n

I need a specific guitar<\/p>\n

and\u00a0I smudge up my writing all day long.<\/p>\n

It’s not just a phase, either.<\/p>\n

It’s something I have to deal with,<\/p>\n

so I will just come out and say it–<\/p>\n

I’m a writer and<\/p>\n

a left-handed world is a myth.<\/p>\n
