with some kind of secret handshake<\/p>\n

or a gaze so you know what I’m thinking.<\/p>\n

I mean, I’m just wondering:<\/p>\n

What’s your favorite color? Your favorite phase of the moon?<\/p>\n

Which photoalbum of us would you save from a monsoon?<\/p>\n

I’m just wondering:<\/p>\n

Would you like to move too fast and plan our perfect lives together?<\/p>\n

I’ve seen you for a second, maybe,<\/p>\n

and sure, I already know my glasses will be my\u00a0something blue<\/em>,<\/p>\n

but it’s true what they say,<\/p>\n

when like souls walk the same way,<\/p>\n

or something like that.<\/p>\n

Something like,<\/p>\n

stop looking, it’ll find you,<\/em><\/p>\n

or it’s a team effort, and they’re trying, so why aren’t you<\/em>?<\/p>\n

What color do you want your living room?<\/p>\n

I want something like:<\/p>\n

bumblebee, butter, or bronze,<\/p>\n

or<\/p>\n

custard, candle, canary,<\/p>\n

something easy to see from the road<\/p>\n

because my double-paned window<\/p>\n

will be a pain to open every spring morning<\/p>\n

but it’ll happen.<\/p>\n

So, sorry, what’d you say your favorite era of American history is?<\/p>\n

Because we’ll take that,<\/p>\n

inspire out kitchen-nook,<\/p>\n

and when we get home from work and curl up together with some good books,<\/p>\n
