\nis poetry to a beat,
\nbut what if poetry,
\nis just a good song
\nwithout a beat?
\nBecause it’s doesn’t matter if the rhythm is all wrong
\nor all right
\nbecause it’s all all right in the end.
\nIt’s just the fact that I can repeat myself
\nand it means something
\nIt’s just the fact that I can repeat myself
\nand it could mean nothing
\nbut in poetry,
\nThere’s no vibrato grotto
\nor back-beat sheet to hide behind.
\nIn poetry.
\nEverything is free to see,
\nout in the air,
\nor the water,
\nor where ever you want it to be;
\nit’s not stuck in guitar riffs
\nor vocal cliffs,
\nor 4:4 time measures.
\nYou don’t need to know how to read music
\nto read the pleasures
\nof poetry.
\nIn poetry,
\nthere can be a chorus because
\nit’s just the fact that I can repeat myself
\nand it means something
