I suppose they\u00a0<em>have<\/em> to if they&#8217;re ever going to get work done.<\/p>\n<p>But do they even want to?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe they left their backpack alone because<\/p>\n<p>they knew what it was and what it\u00a0<em>meant<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p>school<\/p>\n<p>commitment<\/p>\n<p>grades<\/p>\n<p>and they didn&#8217;t\u00a0<em>want<\/em> any of that.<\/p>\n<p>Not yet, anyway.<\/p>\n<p>But some day they will have to come back in get it.<\/p>\n<p>Or someone will have a great day at the Salvation Army.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, it seems to me that someone will win eventually.<\/p>\n<p>But for now I suppose I will just sit back and watch your backpack<\/p>\n<p>knowing that you will come at some point.
